History
Clan 3 was founded in March 2000. Back then Clan 3 was a 2on2-only clan and counted
just 5 members: rAsTamAn (who is our *lazy* clanleader), THIRSK^ (the always-whining mister), apC (who never really
played a war for Clan 3 but has been our mascot from the start), SCREAMER (got nothing to say about him really :])
and Flexie. Clan 3 played its first match on April 8th against clan KING (T-1000 and Fris-B) and we actually won. :]
While THIRSK^ was playing under a weird nickname again he met Vo0, with whom he could
get along well. Vo0 joined and we now had 6 members. Right after Vo0 joined, Waldiny from icp asked if he
could join. He kinda sucked and I believe he has only played few wars.
Some time of playing 2on2 had gone by, when Fris-B asked
if he could join Clan 3 under his 'new' nick: frS^3^. Everybody agreed and Clan 3 officialy started playing 4on4 because
frS insisted. We did quite well actually, winning our first 6 wars, after which we lost one from nexus before
we continued our winning streak.
A few months later THIRSK^ came with the idea of joining the UK
WirePlay Deathmatch League. We joined
and performed quite well in the first few wars but after that the servers got laggy and we started losing matches, so
we decided to quit. During that time Cygnus and Nine-Horn joined our squad to help us out with the WPDML but they
actually started playing ClanBase matches for Clan 3.
Well that's about the story behind Clan 3. Right now we're eagerly waiting for Doom 3 and Quake 4 to be released, we're still having a lot of fun
and no one is even thinking about leaving Clan 3.
